greytone is a music label /publishing organization founded in middle 2009 and based in north of Italy. The two founders’ lifelong music passion and long time experience in music business supported the creation of this new project.
greytone label is recording, producing and releasing music company and its goal is to become a qualitative and professional platform for the most interesting artists in the deepest side of contemporary music expression.
Their world and music vision has no limits and they definitively want to push the existing music parameters into wider dimensions.
The main aim is to put love and care into each release, giving it the best possible design and packaging and for this aspect greytone is releasing professionally manufactured CDS (No CD-r) and VINYLS only.

greytone will mainly concentrate the label’ efforts in physical products as they believe in the true breath that physical products could donate to the listeners, but they do not want to exclude completely the people who want to obtain music in digital download, so most of greytone releases will be also available in digital format thru the greytone website.

Demo Policy

We’re happy to receive demo submissions, but please only contact us if you’re confident that your music fits in with the greytone audio style. We remain remain a very flexible label with regard to what we release, use your common sense in deciding whether or not your sound is appropriate.
Please send us completed works only, on CD(r) or we could download Mp3 (good quality) / Wav. Do not send us links to MySpace profiles or incomplete tracks. In any case you should contact us first by email.
We cannot accept file attachments to our email and those will be deleted.If you need to send a faulty or defective item back to us please e-mail greytone first here

Orders of physical products are picked and packed from Monday to Friday and most orders will be dispatched in 24 hours thru international priority mail (pretty secure and fast). greytone delivers worldwide.

Returns Information
If an item is faulty or in some way defective greytone.shop will provide you with a replacement copy if it is in stock. If no stock is available we are happy to exchange the item for an alternative of equal value. If you really don’t want an exchange we will refund your purchase on return of the item.

If an item is unwanted or disliked we will *not* refund or exchange it. Samples are provided for you to listen to and get a feel for whether you might like a release. We feel that in return for this service it is fair for us to decline requests for unwanted items. We also believe it is particularly pertinent in these times of easy digital copying and file sharing.

Digital Download
You could download full albums in the following formats : MP3 (320k default), FLAC, AAC, OGG, ALAC.

When you download an album from greytone.shop, it arrives on your computer in a compressed format called zip. Before you can add the music to your library and listen to it, you’ll need to decompress, or “unzip” it.
